Gutters in Crestview Hills, Sized for Your Roof and Your Lot
We hang new gutters and fix the ones you have, so rain leaves your roof and ends up well clear of the foundation. Before we suggest anything, we measure every run, look at the fascia behind the old gutters and explain what your home needs.

Why Your Gutters Matter More Than They Look
A gutter is a simple channel, but it decides where hundreds of gallons of roof water go in a single storm. When gutters sag, clog or empty right beside the house, that water rots the fascia, streaks the siding and collects against your foundation. A basement wall that turns damp every spring often starts with one short downspout.
Around Northern Kentucky, gutters work hard. Mature oaks and maples pack them with leaves each fall, and winter freeze and thaw cycles push ice into seams and hangers. Plenty of older homes still have sectional gutters with a joint every ten feet, and each joint is a leak in waiting.
We size the system to your roof, not to whatever happens to be on the truck. Sometimes that means bigger gutters and wider downspouts. Sometimes a simple repair is all you need, and we will say so.
What You Get When We Handle Your Gutters
- Seamless gutters cut to each wall
- A machine in our truck shapes the gutter from a coil of aluminum right in your driveway, so every wall gets one continuous length. Corners are the only places pieces meet, and those get sealed carefully by hand.
- Capacity matched to your roof
- Roof area, pitch and the number of valleys dumping into one corner all tell us how much water a run must carry. Steep roofs and long walls often call for 6-inch gutters and oversized downspouts so a downpour does not spill over the lip.
- A look behind the old gutters
- The fascia board and drip edge get checked before anything new is fastened. Any soft or rotted wood is swapped out first, because new gutters are only as secure as the board holding them.
- Tight hanger spacing and a steady pitch
- Concealed hangers are set close together to carry snow and ice weight. Each run tilts slightly toward its outlet, so water drains away instead of pooling and freezing in the trough.
- Downspouts that send water away
- Outlets go where the roof naturally sheds the most water. Extensions or splash blocks then carry the flow several feet from the house, keeping your foundation, beds and walkways drier.
- Fixes and guard options
- A leaky corner, a loose section or a crushed downspout can often be fixed on its own. If overhanging trees keep clogging things up, we talk through gutter guards and whether they make sense for your home.
Signs Your Gutters Need Attention
Overflow during a hard rain
Water pouring past the lip of the gutter in a storm points to a clog, a gutter that is too small, or a run that slopes the wrong way.
Sagging or pulling away
Gutters that droop or lean out from the house usually have failed hangers or rotted fascia behind them.
Drips at every joint
Older sectional gutters leak at the seams as the sealant dries out. Rust lines or dark stains under the joints give it away.
Wet basement or eroded beds
Washed-out mulch, puddles along the foundation or a damp basement wall often trace back to a short or missing downspout.
Heavy ice along the edge
Thick icicles hanging from the gutters in winter can mean they are holding water. That extra weight can pry them loose from the house.
What Affects the Cost of Gutters
Every home is priced on its own measurements and condition. Here is what moves the number, so nothing on the estimate catches you off guard. Ask about our current offer: Limited Time — $50 Off Your First Service Call.
Total length and stories
Price follows the linear feet of gutter and downspout. Two-story walls and steep slopes behind the house take more ladder work and more time.
Gutter size and material
Six-inch gutters and oversized downspouts use more material than standard 5-inch systems, but they handle heavy storms much better on large or steep roofs.
Fascia condition
We cannot see rot until the old gutters come down. If boards need replacing, we show you what we found and price it before we go further.
Guards and extras
Gutter guards, extra downspouts and underground drain connections add to the job. We only suggest them when your trees or yard actually call for them.
How a Gutter Job Goes
- 1
A phone call and a free estimate
Tell us what you are noticing. We set a time to come out, measure every run and look at the fascia, the roof edge and where the water lands.
- 2
A clear plan and price
We explain whether repair or replacement makes more sense, what size gutters and downspouts we recommend, and why. You see the numbers before you decide.
- 3
Install day
Most homes are finished in a day. We take down the old gutters, fix any bad fascia, cut the new runs to length, hang them and connect the downspouts.
- 4
Flow check and haul-away
Before we pack up, we pour water into each run and watch it drain to the outlets. Then we cart off the old gutters and pick up scraps and screws from the yard.

Gutter Questions We Hear Often
Can my gutters be repaired, or do I need new ones?
Loose sections, a leaky corner or a bent downspout can usually be repaired. If the gutters are rusting through, leaking at many seams or too small for your roof, replacement is the better use of your money. We will tell you plainly which camp you are in.
Do I need 5-inch or 6-inch gutters?
Five-inch gutters work for many ranch homes with modest roof areas. Larger, steeper roofs and spots where valleys concentrate water usually need 6-inch gutters. We measure and explain our reasoning on site.
Are gutter guards worth it?
They help most when tall trees overhang the roof and you are cleaning gutters several times a year. No guard is completely maintenance free, so we talk through the tradeoffs before you spend anything.
Will you check my roof while you are up there?
Yes. We look at the shingles along the edge and the drip edge as part of the job. If we spot something bigger, we let you know and can talk about roof repair or a full roof inspection, with no pressure.
Do I need to be home on install day?
Not necessarily. We need access to the outside of the house and a clear path along the walls. We walk the finished work with you, or send you a summary if you are away.
Ready to Stop Water Where It Starts
We will measure your roof, check the fascia and give you a straight answer on repair or replacement. The estimate is free, and there is no obligation.
